Gunung Tujuh Lake

Gunung Tujuh Lake is located in Pelompek Village, Kayu Aro district, Kerinci region, Jambi province, Sumatera island, Indonesia country. Trip route : from Jakarta airport to Sultan Thaha Jambi airport, continued with bus or travel to location. From Pelompek village, tourists only need to walk to location.

Gunung Tujuh Lake is a water sources of Gunung Tujuh waterfall, Telun Berasap waterfall, and Batang Sangir river. According to local legend, Gunung Tujuh lake is sacred place. They believe that this lake is maintained by two spirits called Lbei Sakti and Saleh Sri Menanti.

Gunung Tujuh Lake is still natural, it has a beautiful view and clear water. It surrounded by seven peak, Gunung Hulu Tebo (2.525m dpl), Gunung Hulu Sangir (2.330m dpl), Gunung Madura Besi (2.418m dpl), Gunung Lumut (2.350m dpl), Gunung Selasih (2.230m dpl), Gunung Jar Panggang (2.469m dpl) and Gunung Tujuh (2.735m dpl). At some point on the edge of this lake, there is sand that stretched like a beach. Tourists can stay to camp while waiting for the sun rise. It is a beautiful moment when the sun showed his light.
